- Contact several Breeders.
- Ask to see the dogs even before the purchase is binding.
- Visit the Breeder and see if the puppies are well cared for.
- Ask what health testing has been done on the parents.
- Look behind the scene and check everything out.
- Get to know the environment of the mother dog and puppies.
- Observe the adult dogs. Are they very anxious or very outgoing? Or are they reserved initially, but then trusting. Please remember the saying: The apples does not fall far from the tree.
- Make sure the dogs and puppies have a family connection. The puppies may reside partially exposed in the living area. See where they are raised and how they are raised. How much of a free outlet do they have?
